Tom Brown Park tennis courts are multi-purpose courts used for tennis, pickleball and any other sports that will not damage the surface or nets of the courts. Tom Brown pickleball courts are used for pickleball only.

Court Rules
- During monitored hours at Tom Brown, Winthrop, and Four Oaks Parks, all players are required to register and pay appropriate fees at the monitor station at the beginning of each play period. A 10-minute default rule will be in effect for court reservations during monitored hours.
- During non-monitored and non-open play times, play is first come first play, and should be limited to 1 ½ hours when courts are full. Visit Talgov.com for current court schedules.
- Private instruction is prohibited if fees are charged, or the instructor is otherwise compensated. Only authorized City staff are permitted to give paid instruction.
No dogs, whether restrained on a leash or not, shall be allowed on or around active recreational areas such as tennis and pickleball courts.
- The USTA Code for court conduct will be enforced. Players should show courtesy to players on other courts. Do not cross through courts during play. No horseplay or profanity.
- These courts are used for recreational play and for programs and activities approved and/or sponsored by the City. The Tennis Superintendent must approve all court use for leagues, tournaments, and specific events.
- Players should wear appropriate tennis and pickleball attire. Shirts and tennis shoes are required.
- Tennis courts are multi-purpose courts used for tennis, pickleball, and any other sport that will not damage the surface or nets of the court.
- Pickleball courts are for pickleball only.
- Motorcycles, bicycles, skates, skateboards or any other vehicles with wheels are not allowed on the courts.
- Players with ball hoppers will be allowed on courts if the adjacent court is empty or courts are divided by divider nets.
- Play will not be permitted when courts are wet or otherwise unsafe. During monitored hours, all players must vacate the courts if a "Lightning Warning" has been issued.
