I am a neutered male & I look like a American Staffordshire Terrier mix
The shelter staff think I am 6 months old.
Hi I am Lucky and I am about 6 months old and a not too big 47 pounds. My Foster Mom named me Lucky because her car broke down when she came to the Shelter to pick me up and there were so many people there who wanted to help her that she was on the road in no time. She thinks I brought her Luck. I am:
Super happy to be in a quiet home, with 2 older dogs, a Foster Mom, and no scary loud noises.
Calm in my kennel, and when hanging out with Foster Mom helping her cook dinner (broccoli is not what it’s cracked up to be).
Potty trained – at least I haven’t had any accidents in the house or my kennel so far. We don’t count peeing on the back deck because that is technically outdoors…..
Sleeping through the night in my kennel. I like the quiet, and snuggly blankets, and when we wake up it’s breakfast time!
Loving my fenced yard where I can RUN and run and play keep-away from Foster Mom. I always come back to her and give snuggles when it’s time to go back inside (sometimes even when she is ready to, but mostly when I am).
Very treat motivated, so I am eager to learn what you want to teach me. I can sit (that was easy).
Hoping to find an active family that will run with me and take me fun places and help me work out my big energy in a constructive way.
A Big Player and would do best with other dogs who don’t mind some enthusiastic play. My Foster Mom’s dogs are older and basically told me to tone it down and I am a Good Boy so I am trying! But I’d love another younger dog or active human to hang with.
Ready to go home with you! I am “fixed” and all healed up from that, so come meet me and fall in love like everyone else has!!
